The adopted priorities will be published on the Norfolk Constabulary website, via Police Connect and Social Media Community Safety. Everyone has a right to live free from and without the fear of anti social behaviour and crime. The Breckland district is a safe area to live and work, but occasionally problems arise in communities which may require a multi agency approach to resolve. The Breckland Operational Partnership Team (BOPT) is made up of officers. Most PCSOs work within a Safer Neighbourhood (SNT) or Neighbourhood Policing team (NPT) that contains PCSOs, special constables and beat managers (police sergeants). These teams are led by a neighbourhood inspector. Day-to-day duties usually include high visibility patrolling, tackling anti-social behaviour, dealing with minor offences, crowd control and directing traffic at public events. Norfolk Constabulary has maintained its local neighbourhood teams, despite cuts to its budget, to help prevent crime and engage with the public.
